Rihanna Debuts 'You Da One' Single

Rihanna's upcoming album, Talk That Talk, won't be released until November 21st, but luckily you can listen to her newest single You Da One right now. The artist posted the track on her Facebook page earlier this morning, just 10 days shy of the album's release date. The song's overall message is much more cheerful than the album's first single, We Found Love, which centered more around reminiscing about a lost love. You Da One, however, focuses on the actual process of falling in love and the joys that come with it, saying: "You know how to give me that. You know how to pull me back. … I’m falling for you and there’s nothing wrong with that.” The lyrics are simple yet sweet, which allows you to just enjoy the unique sound and melody that Rihanna is known for. If these first two songs are any indication of the caliber of her entire album, I think I've found the perfect stocking stuffer to add to my growing Christmas list. Listen to the full track below and see for yourself:

Dakota Fanning's Marc Jacobs Ads Banned In The UK

According to the BBC News, the United Kingdom's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) decided to ban Dakota Fanning's Marc Jacobs Oh Lola! ad because they found the image to be too risqué for a minor. In regards to the ruling, the ASA explained their thought process on the matter, stating, "We considered that the length of her dress, her leg and position of the perfume bottle drew attention to her sexuality. Because of that, along with her appearance, we considered the ad could be seen to sexualize a child. We therefore concluded that the ad was irresponsible and was likely to cause serious offense." As of now, the perfume maker Coty UK has disputed the ASA's ruling, saying it has yet to receive any complaints about the ad in question, but referred to it as "provoking, but not indecent." Check out the controversial ad below and see if you consider it too racy:

Personally, I don't think the ad is really that inappropriate, especially considering the fact that Fanning is now 17 years old. Taylor Lautner was already making grown women drool at that age, yet no one bothered to tell him to put his shirt back on so I'm not really getting what makes this ad so wrong. Honestly, I've seen more indecent things written on the back of a bathroom stall in 6th grade, so I doubt this ad is really going to seriously corrupt today's youth. This is either the ASA's way of saying Dakota still looks like a 12-year-old, or they're just having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that she's not a little girl anymore (a fact that I still have trouble accepting since it totally goes against my theory that Hollywood stars never age). But from the look of things, she's all grown up now!
